2nd Annual Heart of Jubilee High Tea Fundraiser
What a joy it is for me to be able to extend this to the ladies of Moorpark Presbyterian Church. The Heart of Jubilee was founded several years ago when the Holy Spirit put on my heart to open a home for girls coming out of sex trafficking. I was kneeling before the Lord in my dining room when I said, “All I am is yours, all I have is yours, use me as you will.” I heard His voice load and clear say to me, “I want you to open a home for girls coming out of sex trafficking.” I created a Board of Directs and built a team of 60 prayer partners who have been contending in prayer ever since. Last year He said, “Get ready.” So, we started fundraising efforts. All the legal aspects of the 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Corporation have been completed, including patent rights to the name and logo, we are awaiting the home.
Both myself and one of the other Board members have put on and enjoyed High Tea from some famous places around the globe. Each table will be set with beautiful Fine Bone China mostly from England, linens, flowers and crystal. The tea will consist of fresh fruit cup, homemade scones, clotted cream, lemon curd and jams, tea sandwiches, dessert, tea and water. Each individual will receive a fresh fruit cup, 2 scones, 3 tea sandwiches and an assortment of homemade desserts along with a selection of several imported teas. There will be 6 gentlemen servers, dressed in white and black, bowties and black aprons, that will be serving the ladies through the afternoon. Prior to the High Tea, everyone will have opportunity to buy tickets for some amazing donated raffle items, which will be raffled off throughout the luncheon (Only cash and checks will be accepted for the raffle items). We’ll open up with worship from an up-and-coming singer and songwriter who will sing 2 songs, then a prayer will be said by all. I will share what God has put on our heart for the Heart of Jubilee. We will then enjoy a delightful lunch with friends and family.
