At MPC, we believe worship is our human response to God for all He is with everything we are – our full intellect and emotions; our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We worship Him with our lives and, on Sundays, we gather to worship Him together. We invite you to join us for joyful, heartfelt music; humble prayer; scripture reading; inspiring, relatable, Biblical preaching; and, on the first Sunday of each month, the celebration of communion.

If you have any questions about worship or are interested in being part of the worship and creative arts ministry – we’d love to have you! – please contact our Worship Director Dan McGowan at 805-529-8422, ext. 104 or at DanM@MPCLife.org.
Below are some ways you can become involved; contact Dan unless noted otherwise.
Our praise team is made up of adults and teens, with above-average musical abilities and a desire to help lead our congregation in worship that glorifies God and encourages the body. We rehearse on Thursday evenings. Please contact Dan McGowan if you are interested.
Do you have a yearning, skill or nudging from God to help lead worship for our services? We like to invite guest worship leaders who are skilled in this area and if that’s you, please let us know! Contact Dan for more information.
On occasion, we organize singers to present choral songs, cantatas and more. We rehearse and sing in services on an “as-needed” basis. If you have interest in being a part of our adult choir, contact Dan.
HAND BELL CHOIR
Our hand bell choir is open to musicians who love to create instrumental music together and have above-average musical and music reading skills. For more information, please contact Jos Tillar.
We are always interested in inviting “non-regulars” to participate in our worship services. This can be as a singer or instrumentalist – or both! If you have a desire to share your gift with us, please contact Dan.
